About me

I am a fifth-year electrical engineering (biomedical option) student at the University of British Columbia. I am currently the co-president of the UBC Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society, where I lead a team of Vice Presidents to put on events like tutoring, career fairs, parties, and hackathons.

I have co-op work experience at Kinitics Automation and StarFish Medical, and I have research experience in machine learning from working with the Tam Lab at the UBC School of Biomedical Engineering. I was previously the avionics hardware lead for UBC Rocket, an engineering design team whose goal is to design, build, and launch high-power rockets for competitions. I managed and actively participated in the design, building, and testing of avionics systems for the Tantalus, Silvertip, Beauty and the Beast, and Garibaldi rockets.

Outside of school, I have several hobbies, such as electronics, programming, and aviation. I have several personal projects through those hobbies developing my skills in embedded hardware, PCB design, firmware programming, and software programming.

I am looking for new graduate electrical engineering roles in the biomedical field starting in May or September of 2025.

About the site

I created this site over a period of a few months in 2021. It was created using HTML with Bootstrap, which makes the website look cleaner than just a simple HTML site. Bootstrap also makes it responsive, so it works on a wide variety of devices. The site is hosted with GitHub pages, so you can see the repository for the site here. There are a couple Python scripts in the repository whose function is just to make the header and footer of each page the same as the header and footer of index.html, which helps a lot when I want to make a change to the entire site. If you have any questions or comments about the website, please reach out!
